How do you deliver refrigerated medication?

Refrigerated medication

We can safely deliver medication that needs to be kept refrigerated, such as certain eye drops or insulins. Our packaging and delivery process keeps your medication at the right temperature all the way from our pharmacy to your door, whether it’s sent by courier or one of our own drivers.

How refrigerated deliveries work:

Special packaging

Refrigerated items are packed in insulated packaging with cooling elements, keeping them at the correct temperature for up to 48 hours.

Signature required

Some deliveries may require a signature, to make sure your medication is received and stored promptly.

Delivery timing

We aim to deliver refrigerated items as quickly as possible to keep them effective. You’ll be notified of your expected delivery date in advance.

Failed delivery attempts

If a delivery attempt fails, it’s important to rearrange delivery or collect the item promptly. Items returned to us due to a failed delivery will be disposed of for safety, and unfortunately no refund can be issued in this case.

Notification

You’ll receive a dispatch notification for refrigerated items, so you can plan ahead and make sure someone’s available to receive your delivery.

Important notes

We don’t charge extra for refrigerated medication.

If you have any questions about a refrigerated delivery, please contact us.
