Controlled drug prescriptions

At Halo Pharmacy, we follow strict guidelines to handle controlled drug prescriptions safely and in line with the law. Here’s what you need to know.

Prescription requirements

Your prescription must be issued on an FP10CD form (the pink form). We require the original physical copy before we can dispense your medication.

Delivery guidelines

All controlled drug prescriptions are sent via Royal Mail’s signed-for service.

Royal Mail doesn’t collect on Sundays, so orders processed after Saturday’s collection will go out the following Tuesday.

Please make sure someone’s available to sign for the package. If nobody’s available, Royal Mail will either hold it or return it to us.
